About Market Feasibility
Market feasibility is the process of determining whether and at what
levels a specific
market will support a specific real estate development. The Danter
Company conducts market feasibility research for all types of commercial
and residential real estate development in local real estate markets
nationwide, and has conducted over 17,000
such studies since 1970, with studies conducted in all 50 states.
A market feasibility study is typically required by a lender or other
finance agency as due diligence assuring that the property will succeed
in the market. As such it is different
than an appraisal, which is conducted to determine current or
potential value.
At The Danter Company, we believe that a market feasibility analysis
is more than a rubber stamp - it presents an opportunity to partner with
the developer to identify ways in which a property can maximize its
return on investment. We listen to the market and translate that into
recommendations that will make a property more competitive, as well as
identifying places where we can eliminate mistakes before they
get built.
A good market study can be the best investment a developer makes. To
